"Not quite as horrific as losing my keys in the car, I had literally closed them in the boot. It was so foolish. He phoned us out of Willian and said, "I'm just here at our front doorway and I have misplaced the keys somewhere in a different country. Please send your best locksmith around now" We managed to do this pretty speedily and he rapidly got the house open and brand new keys made.

"In our office we have a dead-bolt along with a combination lock that we never lock, and one of our office workers decided to start using the code lock, not realising that we did not have the combination.
